Embrace the Power of Truth by P J Sheehan

Truth, by definition, means conformity to fact or actuality. A statement which is accepted as true expresses sincerity, integrity, reality. I believe truth is absolute goodness; correctness; rightness; being without error and absent of evil. Truth is that which is considered to be the supreme reality. In its most basic form, it is purity. This book is about the truth that God has shown me, and has led me to share with you. I hope you gain from it what I gained from the revelation He has given me.

“Just as every drop of water knows its path back to the sea, every person knows his path to the truth,” says author Peter Sheehan in his new book, “Embrace the Power of Truth.” In this monumental book, Sheehan outlines a simple formula to reconstruct peoples’ lives and get them on the right path to their true destiny.

Sheehan’s concept uses the ocean as a powerful metaphor for life. He tells his readers to visualize themselves as the captain of a boat on a vast sea. It could be a small row boat, a swift sail boat, or a powerful speed boat. The choice of boat is the first lesson of his system. It is a telling indicator of the kind of life one is leading.
In each chapter, Sheehan details how to navigate your boat on the sometimes rough and angry sea of life:
“Like the abrupt changes of the sea from an impending storm, each day of our lives can bring difficult challenges. When unpleasant things happen, we should remain confident that our experience will only make us stronger. The ocean may appear still and calm one moment, but in a short while it could be raging, putting your ship in peril. Learn to be prepared and also how to adjust to the precipitous changes that are inevitable on the ocean and in your life.”

Being prepared means knowing how to use the tools your boat has to offer, such as the compass to plot your direction, the rudder to steer your course, and the anchor to moor you safely in harbor or release you to move freely on your coarse. Sheehan cautions the reader to be aware of their balance and to look out for sea sickness, an indicator that all is not well with your path.

Sheehan’s empowering book is sure to transform the lives of readers of all ages and from all backgrounds. His simple and clear system reverberates at the heart of humanity and can be recognized as a true way to change lives. It is a must read for those who are seeking to better their lives and embrace the truth.

Peter J. Sheehan was born in Newport, RI, the oldest of six. He built his first boat at the age of 13 and has been owned by numerous boats ever since. When rough seas hit his life years ago, Sheehan prayed to God for guidance before going to bed. That night he had a dream which said, “The ocean is truth.” Sheehan spent the next ten years trying to understand his dream. Despite his severe dyslexia, Sheehan wrote this book after finding the truth of the phrase and of life.
